Qualification:
Masters in Agriculture with a specialization in Agronomy From GB Pant University Of Agriculture and Technology . I have also undertaken special trainings in the areas on Tissue culture, Computer Programming, Technology Assessment & Technology Forecasting, Drip Irrigation Systems for Horticultural Crops, Intensive Cultivation Of Vegetables Under Different Growing Conditions’

Experience :
I have over 10 yrs of work experience. Before joining TIFAC as an Senior Scientific Officer II I have worked at IIT Delhi in the Centre for Rural Development Technologies, at Agriculture Research Station Durgapura Jaipur . I also worked as a Graduate Assistant during my Masters at The GB Pant University of Ag and Technology, Pantnagar

At TIFAC I worked from March 1996 to Oct 2001 in the ‘Fly Ash Mission’, wherein my main responsibilities included handling the thrust area on Agriculture general coordination and various specific projects. The experience gained during this period has mainly been in the areas of project selection, planning, facilitating, towards specifically set objectives. The work also involved detailed designing of data recording formats for data management, networking between experts and organizations to facilitate smooth and successful project implementation. At various stages, I also handled the work in the other thrust areas like ‘Characterization’, Handling and ,Ash Ponds and ,Roads and Embankments as well as some Consultancy Assignments taken up by the Mission .Parallelly I have been handling projects under the Technology Vision 20-20 Mission mode Projects on agriculture

Since Nov 2001 I am working in the area of TIFAC Reports preparation which are meant to assess the various new technologies in the context of emerging markets. I am also handling some projects under the Technopreneur Promotion Programme(TePP) of DST .
